OUR STORY

Bedford Foundation Since 1946

Gus Alvarez purchased the Bedford property in 1946 after returning from military service in WWII. In 1948, he partnered with Karl Katschke to establish Perennial Gardens—a garden center serving local properties.

His son Augie joined in 1968, expanding to landscape construction and maintenance. Augie's son Sean represents the third generation, continuing Bedford operations since 1990.

Bedford location unchanged. Operations expanded. Principles consistent.
