Style: Stonework across projects
A collection of masonry samples across our estate work. Natural stone masonry is among the most durable landscape investments — properly built, the walls and hardscape elements in these photos should last a century or more.
The portfolio covers both dry-stacked construction (where the stones carry the load without mortar) and mortar-set work (where the joints are sealed for structural and aesthetic reasons). Each approach has its applications; site conditions and intended use drive the choice.
Regional stone sourcing matters as much as construction technique. Native stone matches the geology a property sits on, weathers into character over years, and reads as part of the land rather than imported.
